OK feel I need to get on with some serious blogging as I’m getting to far behind so here I’ am “Mr Sadurday nite” yes thats right SADurday nite and welcome to my madhouse, a screaming baby and a very loud toddler wanting to play my computer games and one mad hound stoating round the house looking for dropped food lol. Well I’m blogging for a reason tonight and its to write about another new piece which is our personalised silver rings bracelet. Our other rings bracelet with the gold and silver rings has been a great success but we had quite a few enquiries about an all silver one as not everyone likes gold. I had planed to put both bracelets on at the same time but due to lack of time, yes I know someone get the violins out! lol and lack of certain stock items I couldn’t get it on until now.
Somethings you really do like to make and I love making this bracelet, its just so unique and something different to all the other bracelets out there that just look so similar to each other. I have added one new finding which I will add to the other bracelet which is the charm holder which looks fantastic on this bracelet and to me just completes it. I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find a charm holder, I did plan to use this in the original design but just couldn’t get my hands on one. If I wasn’t a bloke I would love to wear this but people might think I’m a big girls blouse as they say which there’s nothing wrong with but I have a reputation to pretend to have lol. Will have to look into designing a manly version! OK back onto the subject matter. The good thing I like about this bracelet is the person detail you can have on it, A name of a loved one or a special date in time that means so much. My favourite is inspirational words because my niece is at university and for her last birthday I made her a gold and silver rings bracelet with three charms which had the words believe,dream and inspire just to give her a little boost when she finds it tough going. OK that’s enough waffle from me at the moment.

Saturday, March 12th, 2011Back again! Two posts in one day, Not bad. I wasn’t going to blog till next week but had an email earlier tonight about an order for three gemstone and leaf cluster bracelets which arose from our little break in the countryside last week in the North Yorkshire Moors. It was Sues birthday last week so we decided to take off for a quite break and celebration with our two young boys in tow. We stayed in a log cabin at Keldy forest near a place called Pickering which took me by surprise because it was beautiful and so was the whole surrounding area, little quaint villages and stunning countryside which I didn’t think existed anymore in good old blighty. Listen to me I sound like a travel guide, anyway as usually you get talking to people in your resort and this we did. Sue took a few pieces with her but it was one piece that got some attention which was the leaf & gemstone cluster bracelet shown below. Its amazing how chatty people get when you tell them you make jewellery, So we handed out a few cards and have ended up with a few sales with a few more on the way by the sounds of it.

Birds Nest Collection
Friday, March 11th, 2011Well here we are again another week that is just flying right by. Not doing as much blogging as I would like lately due to our two young boys that seem to be eating up our time. We have got lots of ideas and designs made or in the pipeline so its looking good for the future, Anyway lets get down to this blog which is about our bestselling Birds nest necklace and earrings. We have had a few designs of bracelets jotted down on paper for such a long time but as normal haven’t got round to seriously putting anything together, that was until we had a customer who wanted the necklace and earrings for her wedding but also a bracelet so we got down to work on designing a bracelet and these are two of final design drafts that we came up although it give us so many more. 
As you can see the first bracelet is designed for the more elegant look, very dainty not overpowering but just enough to have an effect when you are walking down the aisle. The second bracelet is a a dangle piece that is still very elegant but a a little more noticeable when walking along as the pearls swing around. All the pearls we used are very high quality with great luster and very few marks if any at all. We used a diamond belcher chain which gives it that dainty elegant look although I have tried it on a real thick chunky chain and it looks great so there’s another design for the future. Its amazing how many designs you can come up with when you have the same few materials. Although I’ am a man and some women would say I haven’t a clue about weddings LOL, but I personally like women when they have all major jewellery pieces on by that I mean earrings,necklace and bracelet. I have seen numerous wedding photo’s were the bride just wears one or two pieces or even none and to me it just doesn’t look right, It can look lop-sided or incomplete but hey that’s just my opinion. OK enough of the wedding lecture I’ll get off my soap box now.
The New Iridana Necklace
Monday, November 15th, 2010Managed to get an hour to get some photo’s of the new Iridana necklace which has been on my to-do-list for some time. I have never really been happy with the cluster necklace as part of a set, I do like the necklace and I hope all the people that purchased one will agree but I wanted to keep the theme of the design like the bracelet and earrings so I went back to a simple but very effective design of the bracelet. The coin pearls we use are incredible, they are so round and smooth and they have a vibrant colour to them that just makes them glow. Now that the set is designed in the same way I think any bride would look breathtaking with this jewellery set on.
Personalised Friendship Bracelets
Monday, September 20th, 2010Friendship bracelets are all the rage at the moment so we decided to design our own starting with a Beautiful children’s bracelet. These fabulous bracelets come with a choice of three different sterling silver charms, flower, heart or a star. The charm is stamped with the initial of your best friend and nestles between eight sterling silver balls. This bracelet comes in seven bright colourful cords to give a good choice and they look fantastic all stacked up on your wrist.
Magical Earrings
Sunday, September 12th, 2010We decided to update one of our pieces which were the moonlight oxidised earrings. We thought we would bring abit of sparkle and brightness to this miserable summer so we have made a pair of sparkling earrings. We have kept the same design for this earrings but have changed the stone and have not oxidised them either. We changed the stone from opalite to grapefruit pink quartz and my are they really sumptuous. These earrings would be ideal for weddings either for the bride or bridesmaid in fact they would look good on anyone going to a wedding.
Facebook Competition

This is just a quick post about our competition on facebook which has gone from strength to strength over the last week or so and have got to our first target of 100 fans and is now well over that so as they say onwards and upwards. New Personalised Name Bracelet
Sunday, August 1st, 2010Sunday night again! just cannot believe how fast the days go I am sure they used to go really slow when i was younger. This weekend has gone really quick as i have been building a sandpit for my boy, its all finished now just need some sand. I think i got my measurements wrong its huge but i don’t think my lad will complain though. I decided to build him one as the ones i have seen in the shops are pretty small and look lie they will snap after a week so i built one that will last for years lol. We didn’t get much time this weekend to work on the business but we did manage to get our new personalised bracelet on the website which we are very pleased about. All this miserable weather doesn’t help because i like to take my photo’s in natural light and it wasn’t easy on Friday but managed to get a few but i will take some new ones when the weather gets better.
Our personalised necklace is one our best sellers and we have had a few enquiries about personalised bracelets as not everybody likes to were necklaces so we got to work designing a bracelet which as you can see is very elegant and stylish. For the bracelet we didn’t think a thin chain would work we wanted one that would stand out and have a look of quality so we went with a chunky cable chain which suits the design. The tags are the same ones we use for the necklace to keep it in the same range. We used an adjustable toggle because we get a lot of customers who are not quite sure what size they are so we thought this would be the best option. On the toggle we put a lovely cluster of charms which consist of a sterling silver angel wing, a sterling silver padlocked heart and a gold vermeil key which keeps with the theme of the bracelet which is for love of the people past and present in your lives weather it be new babies, family members or friends who have touched your lives this is a great gift that you can keep and remember the good times when you look at there names. Gold Bird’s nest Pearl Earrings & Necklace Set
Wednesday, July 28th, 2010We had a customer contact us last week to see if we could make her wedding jewellery for her, she really liked the bird’s nest pearl earrings and necklace set which has been one of our best sellers over a long period of time. The bride to be wanted to have the set in gold which we had wanted to do for a long time but like a lot of things it gets further down the list as more and more ideas come along so its was nice to finally get the chance to make them. Sue decided to be the first one to try it as the last thing you want is to waste good gold filled wire like i would! lol. The gold wire was a lot tougher than the sterling silver wire to bend so it took a bit more concentration but they turned out great and i must admit they look better in the gold than silver to me. 
I really love this set in gold and will be pushing it to become one of our best sellers because it just oozes elegance especially with the beautiful pearls that we use with the glow of the luster emanating from them is mesmerizing. A truly wonderful piece that has a simplistic look but would make any bride to be look elegant walking down the aisle.
