Personalised Gold & Silver Ring Bracelet

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

Well where do I start, Its been a bit mad and scary the last 3 weeks but trying to get life back to normal as possible again after the birth of our son Euan. We had to take him into hospital when he was just 5 days old as he had a virus which caused him great pain so we had to close the shop down for the last 2 weeks and now we have reopened with loads of emails to catch up on which brings me to our new personalised gold and silver rings bracelet which we have had a lot of interest in and some kind comments and reviews. This beautiful bracelet was kindly added to a blog by Miss Frekkles who is a fantastic knitter and can be found on etsy and folksy.

White Pearl & Mixed Gemstone Cluster Bracelet

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

I love mixing all my pearls and gemstones altogether to see what I can come up with. Autumn will be upon us soon so I was looking to design a piece that fits the time of year so I ended up with this beautiful sparkling bracelet if I do say so myself. Each pearl & gemstone has been meticulously wired to each of the links of the chain upon handmade fine silver and sterling silver head-pins and wire. The round white freshwater pearls are 5.5-6mm to give it a fantastic stylish look. The forest green mystic quartz measure 7.5 -8mm and are interspersed along the bracelet which makes it glow and also gives a beautiful contrast to the pearls. The rubillte garnet measure 4.5 – 6.5mm and are a fantastic deep red wine colour and are also interspersed along the chain. This bracelet is very eye catching with its contrasting colours without being over powering and has a warm and glowing look about it.The bracelet is fastened with a gorgeous sterling silver lobster clasp with a lovely sterling silver leaf charm. I am working on the earrings and necklace to complete this fab autumnal set.

Photographing Jewellery

Monday, September 27th, 2010

Since we had the website re-vamped we have been looking into photographing our jewellery on new backgrounds. I cannot tell you how hard it is to photograph jewellery, We must have thousands of pics that we have taken but cannot use due to them just being rubbish lol. We have tried numerous props but they do not work for every piece due to different colours but then last week we were doing a bit of shopping in one of those “we have it all shops” and we came across a big pad full of fantastic looking vintage textured paper. It has different colours with different patterns but because its thick with a texture to it its great for jewellery. So we have been busy snapping away to get some fresh pics whichork and look fab. It makes it so much easier to get good pics without spending half  a day wondering what colours and props to use so here is our latest rework which is our beautiful Rosa bracelet on a delicious pinky background.

Magical Earrings

Sunday, September 12th, 2010

We decided to update one of our pieces which were the moonlight oxidised earrings. We thought we would bring abit of sparkle and brightness to this miserable summer so we have made a pair of sparkling earrings. We have kept the same design for this earrings but have changed the stone and have not oxidised them either. We changed the stone from opalite to grapefruit pink quartz and my are they really sumptuous. These earrings would be ideal for weddings either for the bride or bridesmaid in fact they would look good on anyone going to a wedding.

Sterling Silver & Gold Vermeil Personalised Rings Bracelet

Sunday, August 8th, 2010

Just thought i would share our new personalised bracelet with you all which we are very pleased about. Its a beautiful rings bracelet but with a bit of a twist, first of all we have used a sterling silver chain to string the rings onto to make it more secure and to add a bit more quality as i think  it just looks better all round. I have then used sterling silver rings in which two rings have been soldered together to make one twisted ring  which looks great. I decided to make the bracelet unique to IndiviJewels so i decided to add some gold vermeil rings to give it a contrast and also to catch peoples attention. Gold and silver always look so nice together just like strawberry’s and cream but it has to be designed in the right way so as not to look over bearing one way or the other so that’s why i added the gold toggle because if i just left it at the gold rings they just looked lost. This bracelet is a solid piece as the rings are big and sturdy not like all the lightweight ones where they are very small or look like they will break after a week that’s why the photo’s do not do it justice it looks much better in the flesh. The great thing about this bracelet is you can personalise it which makes it different and unique to us and to you. This is a great keepsake to remember people past and present and to remember them every time you put it on or look at it you will remember the good times. On the toggle i have added a little cluster of three charms just to make it look proportionate to the rest of the bracelet and to keep in line with our personalised range so you know its one of our pieces. Overall i don’t think you will find a better bracelet of a similar design than this one its just a timeless classic with a unique twist that makes it special. Ok that’s it for now i have got to go clean the floors and windows so i will leave you with a couple of pics of the bracelet.Silver and Gold Vermeil Rings Bracelet with Single Name Charm and Angel Wings Cluster Main ImageSilver and Gold Vermeil Rings Bracelet with Single Name Charm and Angel Wings 6
